RGTV was honored with 3 statues at Saturday's New York Emmys, the seventh straight year the company has won multiple awards.
In its first year of eligibility, The Garden's Defining Moments beat out tough competition in two of the most prestigious categories. Season one of the series, which is narrated by oscar-nominated actor Liam Neeson, took home the Emmy for Sports: Program Series. Also, the individual episode documenting 2009's historic six-overtime Big East Championship Game between Syracuse and UCONN won the award for Sports: Documentary.
In the craft category of Lighting, The Game 365 was honored. This is the series' eighth Emmy.
